Colts’ Michael Pittman Jr. thanks parents with big purchase on new contract
Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Michael Pittman Jr. signed a new three-year contract this offseason, and he immediately put the money to good use by thanking his parents for their support.
Pittman, the son of a former NFL running back, signed a three-year contract extension worth $70 million. It included $46 million guaranteed.

He used some of the money he earned on the new contract to make a big purchase for each of his parents. The 26-year-old wide receiver bought each of his parents a car, stating on Instagram that it’s always been a dream of his to pay his parents back after all those years of supporting his aspirations.

Pittman is the leader in the passing game for the Colts. Over the last three seasons, he’s averaged 103 receptions, 1096 receiving yards and five touchdowns per season.
