Predators free live streams: How to watch 2023-24 Nashville NHL hockey games without cable

It’s a new era in Nashville.

The 2023-24 season marks one of change for the Predators. Longtime GM David Poile retired at the end of last season, turning over the reins to former Preds head coach Barry Trotz. On the bench, John Hynes was let go from his role as head coach, and replaced instead by Andrew Brunette.

Trotz elected to part ways with veteran forwards such as Matt Duchene and Ryan Johansen, bringing in Ryan O’Reilly to take over down the middle. With Roman Josi, Filip Forsberg and Juuse Saros set to lead the way, it’s a chance for young up-and-comers to take more significant roles this season in Smashville.

After missing the postseason for the first time since 2014, the Preds have their eyes on the Stanley Cup playoffs this year.

The Predators play the majority of their games on the Bally Sports South, which the Diamond Sports Group owns. Fubo carries Bally Sports South, which makes the streaming service one of the best options to carry Preds’ games throughout the 2023-24 season.

Fans can sign up for Fubo’s Pro or Elite packages, both of which carry Bally Sports, in addition to 174 channels. In partnership with the Predators, Fubo is offering season-ticket holders a free 30-day trial. Non-season-ticket holders can get a 14-day free trial

How to watch Predators games without cable

There are a number of ways to catch Predators games throughout the 2023-24 season (NHL’s blackout rules apply):

— If you’re in the Nashville market, Fubo carries Bally Sports South, the Predators’ official regional sports network. Viewers inside of the Nashville market can find Preds matchups all throughout the 2023-24 season. It also carries ESPN and NHL Network. However, if you live outside of the Nashville area, Fubo will not carry the games on Bally Sports.

— For those living in the Nashville area, DirectTV Stream also offers Bally Sports, as well as all the networks that air nationally televised games: ESPN, TNT and NHL Network.

— YouTubeTVHulu + Live TV, and Sling TV will stream nationally televised games on ESPN and TNT, giving cord-cutters another streaming option. However, none of these services carry NHL Network or Bally Sports.
