Team USA vs Germany live score, updates, highlights from FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023 semifinals game

The United States is two wins away from FIBA Basketball World Cup glory.

While it closed group play with a couple of disappointing performances, Team USA made a statement in the quarterfinals with a dominant win over Italy. The Americans now face their toughest test yet: Germany, which is the only country still undefeated in the tournament.

Germany is led by Raptors guard Dennis Schroder, who is coming off of a rough quarterfinal performance against Latvia but has otherwise been one of the best players in the World Cup. The USA will have its hands full trying to slow him down. Germany also features the Magic’s Franz Wagner, who scored a team-best 16 points in its thrilling win over Latvia.

Will Team USA advance to the World Cup final, or can Germany pull off an upset?

The Sporting News is tracking updates from Team USA’s semifinal matchup with Germany.
