What channel is Mariners vs. Mets on tonight? Time, TV schedule, live stream for MLB Friday Night Baseball game

Can anyone stop the Mariners?

On July 19 Seattle sat at 47-48 and was 10 games back in the AL West. Since then, the Mariners have gone an absurd 29-9, racing to the top of the division, where it currently resides in a tie with the Astros. During that time, no player has been worth more FanGraphs Wins Above Replacement (fWAR) than Julio Rodriguez, who has accumulated 3.0 fWAR with a .378/.429/.673 slash with 11 homers and 13 steals.

The Mets have, well, not been as hot. On July 7, New York won its sixth straight game to move to 42-46, possibly inspiring some brief hope before the All-Star break. The Mets have since plummeted, going 19-33, with losses in six of their past eight games.

Will Seattle continue to ride the hot hand, or will the Mets find some semblance of competitiveness down the stretch of the season? Tune in to this weekend’s series at Citi Field to see.
