What time will Orioles-Rangers Game 1 of ALDS start? Rain pushes back start of series

Baltimore Orioles fans will have to wait just a little longer for their first play off game since 2016.

Game 1 of the American League division series between the AL East champion Orioles and the wild card Texas Rangers has been delayed by rain.

The first pitch is now scheduled for 2:15 p.m. ET.

Fox’s Ken Rosenthal reported the teams and umpires were to meet at 12:30 pm ET to try to determine when the game could begin. He said the rain was supposed to clear out of the area by 2 p.m. ET.

The Rangers are coming off a two-game sweep of the Tampa Bay Rays last week, winning 4-0 and 7-1. The Orioles enjoyed five off days after winning the division for the first time since 2014.
