When does every team report for MLB spring training 2024? Dates, schedules, locations for all 30 clubs
The Super Bowl is in the books. Guess what that means? That’s right, it’s baseball season.
Though it might still be cold out across plenty of the U.S., the best players in the game are going to start their trips down south to sunny Arizona and Florida to begin preparing for the long MLB season ahead.
Most teams will begin migrating south starting Feb. 14, when pitchers and catchers will report to their camps. Some teams, like the Dodgers and Padres, have already arrived at the Cactus League and begun to prepare their players for the year.

There will also be two regular-season games before spring training officially comes to an end. The Dodgers and Padres will meet in Seoul, South Korea, for the Seoul Series from March 20-21. Those two games will count toward their 162-game season. Those will be the first two MLB games played in Korea.

MLB spring training locations 2024
MLB teams don’t stay home for the winter. When it’s time to get ramped up for the season, they take off to the balmy south in Arizona and Florida. Teams that play in Arizona are in the Cactus League, while teams in Florida are in the Grapefruit League.
Teams will often share stadiums with other teams in towns and cities scattered across the two states. Over the course of a month, they’ll go through the motions of getting ready for the season and have games against each other. Teams only play against the other teams in their state. So, for example, the Dodgers — whose spring facilities are located in Arizona — will not face off against the Braves — whose spring facilities are located in Florida — during spring training.
